
Nabil Mohareb
Dr. Nabil Mohareb is an Associate Professor at the American University in Cairo, Department of Architecture, and a former Director at Beirut Arab University's Faculty of Architecture-Design & Built Environment, Tripoli Campus. Dr. Mohareb is the founder of the Spatial Analysis and Simulation Lab (SASL), focusing on urban and spatial analysis.
His research intersects architecture, urbanism, and social behavior, exploring spatial and economic dynamics through advanced methods like space syntax, GIS, AI, and drone technology for behavioral pattern analysis at micro and macro scales. He has published extensively, led international research initiatives, and conducted workshops in Egypt, Italy, Portugal, and Lebanon. He is the regional editor for Archnet-IJAR and an editorial board member for Open House International.
