
Ronnie Hamad
After 29 years at the World Bank Ronnie co-founded The Sublime Institute building on his 35+ years of experience engaging senior government, private sector, and civil society officials, implementing ambitious reform programs, and managing complex projects in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. His experience spans a range of sectors including public sector Governance, digital development and economic policy.
Over the past 20 years, Ronnie led change processes to accelerate implementation and internal innovation in World Bank-financed projects in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, the primary focus of his consultancy. In 2019, he served as World Bank Resident Advisor to the Saudi Ministry of Finance and the G20 Secretariat to prepare senior ministry officials to assume the Presidency in 2020. Ronnie holds an MBA in International Finance from the George Washington University and completed an executive program at the Harvard Kennedy School on managing change.
He has designed, delivered, and facilitated over 150 high impact workshops for over 5500 World Bank, Government, and private sector professionals that integrate technical content with coaching and leadership development. He is a regular moderator and commentator on economic and financial sector development, with particular interest in Lebanon and the Middle East. He is Board Member of LIFE Lebanon, and chair of the Washington and Advocate Committees, and serves on the US Board of Nafda, a social movement in Lebanon that promotes citizenship, social justice and community engagement in schools.
